Help Opening PDF files
If you are having trouble opening a PDF file inside of your browser, the information below may help you make some changes to your system so the files will open and be viewable.
If you have multiple programs installed on your computer to view or read PDFs, you will want to remove one. Multple programs doing the same thing can cause issues opening the files.
If you use Adobe Reader, try following the steps listed below. These steps will allow the file to be opened outside of the browser and into the PDF reader itself.
- Open Adobe Reader
- Click Edit on the tool bar
- Click the Preferences option
- Uncheck the Display PDF in browser checkbox.
- Click the OK button on the Preferences window
- Close Adobe Reader
- Close the browser
After completeing the steps above open your browser and try accessing the file again.
